SOCIAL STATUS
GOING VIRAL
I have created viral social media posts. In fact, in one instance, my Facebook post was the second most engaging post in the nation among media pages.

One of my goals, starting in late 2018, was to become the "most liked" on Facebook in my market, a feat I surpassed by June 2019.

I began 2019 with less than 4k Likes and began 2020 with nearly 10k.
2+ MILLION PEOPLE
Nationally viral
I created this post after a previous post started to go viral. I thought this might do even better, so I created it before I left and had it scheduled to go out closer to daybreak.
This ended up being the second most-engaging post on Facebook for the day of all news and news personality pages (according to SocialNewsDesk). The only post to beat it was an article the New York Times posted.
1+ MILLION PEOPLE
A few hours earlier...
This was the post that started going viral before I left work for the night, causing me to create a second post to go out closer to daybreak. While this post didn't make it as far, it did spark the content of other TV stations which copied the idea for themselves and gave them nice engagement, too.
ONE FOR ALL
The place for community
When big events happen I am able to create content to bring the community closer. After all, we're all living through this together, we should share our experiences with one another.
I love creating a place where people are excited to share their pictures, videos, stories, and to read others' too.
It's okay to be human
I STAND FOR SOMETHING
My "cause" of choice is Alzheimer's awareness.

p.s. like the graphic? I made it.

The love is unreal.
After the Jefferson City tornado in May 22, 2019...after being on air for 12 hours...I said "goodnight." I woke up to an outpouring of love and a response I did NOT expect. It was quite emotional, especially considering the continued exhaustion.

I'm real. I'm honest.
It was a a really rough week after the Eldon to Jefferson City tornado. I had a lot to process. I wasn't scared of telling people that...and they weren't scared to give me life-affirming feedback that made me even more emotional than I already was.
WE ARE ALL HUMAN
We support each other when it matters most
Historic flooding devastated Nebraska in a truly unimaginable way. I talked about it. People listened and shared their support and love for a state that has long been considered a rival.
TRAVEL WITH ME
Adventure is out there
When I travel, I like to share some of the pictures, videos, stories from my trip. The feedback has been really great. One gentleman even reached out to ask if I would ever do a trip that people could sign up for, like radio folks do sometimes. I don't hate the idea...
LET'S CHAT, LIVE!
You and me, one-on-one, face-to-face
I love doing live videos when the weather is active. I get to answer questions directly and explain more details. I also get to learn what is most important to viewers and what they still want to know more about.
